Ceremonia: An Alternative Haute Couture Universe
From its earliest beginnings, Ceremonia has been deeply influenced by the world of Parisian high fashion. We have always understood fashion as an art form. Not seasonal product, but cultural language. Designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Martin Margiela, Rick Owens, Yohji Yamamoto, John Galliano, Hedi Slimane and Yves Saint Laurent have played a defining role in shaping our visual and philosophical DNA.What resonates most is not aesthetic alone, but discipline. A sensitivity to material. A respect for craft. A commitment to self-expression without compromise. These designers did not simply create garments, they built entire worlds around their collections, complete with their own codes, silhouettes, and design languages. That approach shaped Ceremonia.
From the beginning, we have seen jewellery not as an accessory, but as an extension of identity. Surface, texture, proportion, and construction are treated with the same seriousness as couture pattern-making. The process remains visible. The hand is present. Some influences were so foundational that we paid homage directly in our first collection, naming pieces after Westwood, Margiela and Galliano. Not as reference, but as acknowledgment of lineage.
This haute couture universe forms half of Ceremonia’s DNA.The other half is rooted in rock and roll heritage. In the irreverence and stage-born presence of figures like Keith Richards, Sid Vicious, Johnny Rotten and others who turned personal style into cultural statement.
Ceremonia exists in the tension between these two worlds: the discipline of high fashion and the chaos of rockstar energy. Precision and attitude. Craft and rebellion. That intersection is our universe.
