These are the Terms and Conditions of Ceremonia ABN 42 880 804 549 (the “site”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) for use of our website located at www.weareceremonia.com. These Terms and Conditions incorporate our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, all of which can also be found on the Website.
By accessing our Website and/or purchasing products from us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website or our Services.
Our online store is hosted by Shopify Inc. and they provide us with the platform to sell our products and Services to you.
ETHOS & CRAFTMANSHIP
Each piece of Ceremonia jewellery is crafted by hand in our studio. As such, each item is unique and variations may occur from product images displayed on the Website. This may include slight differences in dimensions, textures, colours of stones and metals. Such variations are inherent to handmade work and are not considered faults.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
We respect your privacy and will not sell or disclose your personal information except as required to fulfil your order or as permitted by law. By providing your details, you consent to us using your contact information to communicate about orders, products, Services, and promotions. You may unsubscribe from promotional communications at any time. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further detail.
PRODUCTION TIMEFRAMES
All pieces are made to order unless otherwise specified. Estimated production times are provided on each product listing and are approximate only. If you require delivery by a specific date, you must contact us prior to placing an order. While we make every effort to meet stated timeframes, delays may occur and we accept no liability for any loss arising from such delays.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
(a) Domestic Orders – Orders within Australia are shipped via Australia Post or Priority Post DHL. A tracking number will be provided upon dispatch.
(b) International Orders – International orders are shipped via Fedex or DHL. Delivery timeframes vary by destination. Customers are responsible for ensuring accurate shipping details.
(c) Delivery Times – Shipping timeframes do not include production time. Risk and title in products pass to you upon delivery.
DUTIES & TAXES
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD). Prices do not include international customs duties, taxes, or charges, which are the responsibility of the customer. We are not responsible for delays due to customs clearance.
PRODUCT VARIATIONS & STONES
We use natural stones in many of our designs. As each stone is unique, variations in colour, shape, and inclusions will occur. Such variations are expected and do not constitute a defect. Product images are provided as a guide only.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
(a) Change of Mind – As each piece is handmade to order, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect sizing, or custom design choices. Please choose carefully.
(b) Faulty Goods – In compliance with the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund if an item is faulty, significantly different to its description, or otherwise does not meet consumer guarantees. Please notify us within 28 days of receipt if you believe your item is faulty.
(c) Retail Purchases – Purchases made through third-party stockists or retailers are subject to the policies of that vendor and cannot be returned to us directly.
REPAIRS & RESIZING
We offer a repair and resizing service for our jewellery, assessed on a case-by-case basis. Reasonable repairs for manufacturing faults will be covered within six (6) months of purchase. Repairs required due to misuse, accidental damage, or unauthorised alterations will incur a fee.
Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with repairs and resizes. We recommend using insured courier services. If another jeweller undertakes work on one of our pieces, all warranties are void.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on the Website, including text, images, designs, logos, and product descriptions, is owned or licensed by us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You must not reproduce, copy, distribute, or otherwise use any material without our prior written consent.
DISCLAIMERS & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
(a) While we take care to ensure information on the Website is accurate, errors, inaccuracies, or omissions may occur. We reserve the right to correct errors or cancel orders affected by such errors.
(b) To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for loss or damage arising from your use of the Website, reliance on product descriptions, delays in delivery, or misuse of products. Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
ORDERS & PAYMENT
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information at checkout. Payment is required at the time of order.
DISCOUNTS & PROMOTIONS
From time to time we may offer discounts or promotional codes. These are valid only for the stated period, apply to full-priced goods unless otherwise specified, and cannot be combined with other offers. Discounts are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
THIRD-PARTY LINKS & SERVICES
The Website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the accuracy, content, or services of such third parties and accept no liability for loss or damage arising from their use.
CHANGES TO TERMS
